Nick + Julie reached out in October of 2019 ready to book me as their wedding photographer. I couldn’t be more thrilled as I met with N + J at a cafe in Cranberry. We discussed their vision for their wedding set to be at Heinz History Center for the following September. Fast forward a few months and the Covid-19 Pandemic put wedding planning at a stand still. N + J decided it was in their best interest to elope to New Orleans, Louisiana instead!
Nick arrives at Audubon Park early to mingle with his groomsmen, wearing his “something blue” – a dashing Men’s Wearhouse Tuxedo. His father, soon to be father-in-law, and brother accompany him as he waits for his bride to arrive.
I take a moment to get a picture of the couple’s rings from Frost & Co.
Julie pulls up in a classic, white limousine and she approaches the beautiful pavilion in her timeless dress from Bridal Beginnings.
A steady rain creates an ambiance as the couple holds hands and proclaims their vows. The ceremony is kept short, sweet, and sealed with a kiss! N + J’s family cheers as they are finally married by Simply Eloped, an elopement company in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Following their ceremony, we take a handful of portraits before Nick + Julie leave for a private dinner with their family.
