When Pittsburgh couple, Ryan + Elise first described their wedding to me, I knew it was going to be a blast to photograph.

Getting ready quietly at home, a catholic ceremony at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, and a reception to follow at J. Verno Studios.

Ryan and Elise get ready in separate spaces, making their first look as Elise walks down the aisle in her classic dress from Blanc de Blanc Bridal Boutique, even more special. (See Ryan’s expression!)

After their heart felt ceremony, R + E’s crew gets on the bus and heads out to Hot Metal Bridge for Pittsburgh cityscape portraits. SO funny trying to dodge all the runners and cyclists, BUT we did it!!

Then the moment we’ve all been waiting for… Ryan + Elise’s reception at J. Verno Studios making for a very modern, moody atmosphere!! Heart Eyes! R + E enter as guests cheer them on. The couple breaks into their first dance to Blessings by Florida Georgia Line. Pittsburgh BBQ serves a buffet of all things barbecue and everyone enjoys their meals after R + E’s makes their way to their sweetheart table.
